This vehicle is an AWD model. The rear differential was failing so I switched the vehicle to Front Wheel Drive. I removed the driveshaft, rear differential assembly, rear axle shafts and rear hub assemblies. I installed new rear hub assemblies, front wheel drive versions along with new rear ABS sensors. I have test driven the vehicle around in the Front Wheel Drive mode and all is driving well. The vehicle does come up with an AWD fault on the dash due to the removal of these parts. You just click “OK” on the steering wheel and the message goes away for the drive. |
